Communication test

Before launching an ad campaign, TV campaign or similar, it is often beneficial to test whether the target audience understands the communication, whether the communication contributes positively to the sender's image and whether the target audience reacts as expected. Not least because a test will often be much cheaper than the cost of preparing and implementing the communication.

  • Depending on the media, target audience and information needs, we can conduct communication tests in focus groups, which Hall tests or Online in panel.
  • Communication tests can be carried out at all levels from the idea stage to the finished communication. The earlier the test is carried out, the earlier corrections can be made to ensure that the communication fulfils its objectives. For example, it can also be a classic ad test that documents the effect of a campaign (recallliking etc.)
    • A communication test will typically result in a report that indicates the target group's understanding of the message, assessment and acceptance of the communication and its relevance, any purchase considerations, etc. In addition, we assess the likely success/potential and give our recommendations for any corrections.
  • All communication tests can be supplemented with customised segmentation models, e.g. based on lifestyle questions. This provides a much more nuanced picture of the target group than traditional demographic variables can provide.
