User surveys

A user survey provides insight into your users' experience of, for example, a product, service or website. The survey will typically uncover the users' satisfaction with and attitudes towards what is being tested. The test of a product or service will typically be part of a customer analysis. The focus here is on website user research.

A website user survey is ideal when:

Website development is underway - we recommend a pre- and post-test to detect changing perceptions

You want to know the type of users and their behaviour on the website in order to optimise communication

You want to continuously optimise the website based on the user's wishes.

Analyse Danmark offers to track website behaviour so you can optimise your efforts and website development.

Often, a lot of resources - financial and human - are spent on developing and maintaining a company website. This makes sense, because today the internet is often the first point of entry for new customers and thus a possible start of a long customer relationship.

But it's not only new customers who use the website. The press, competitors, (future) employees and other stakeholders can gain insight into your world via your website. The problem is often that the company doesn't know enough about the users' perception of the site or their behaviour.

In other words - are you getting enough out of your visitors? Do you know who they are - and are they getting what they came for?

Analyse Denmark suggests supplementing your own perception by asking the users themselves!

The methods

A complete user survey of your website can be completed in 2-3 weeks, depending on site traffic, ensuring the timeliness of the results.

Analyse Denmark can deliver everything from raw data to an analysis with conclusions and recommendations. If you choose the latter, this is done as a complete and annotated report containing overview graphs, recommendations and a complete set of tables with frequency and cross-tabulations.

  • Users who click through to your website are presented with a pop-up questionnaire designed for this purpose.
  • The pop-up window is cookie and frequency controlled, so the user is not bothered with the same form multiple times. The user answers the questions and after min. 500 responses, the survey is stopped.
