Methodology

An awareness survey is typically conducted as a quantitative survey and can be either a panel survey or a telephone survey. Alternatively, you could choose to conduct a qualitative Follow-up or initial research in the form of in-depth interviews or focus groups if you want information on how you can best improve awareness of your company/organisation or what is most important to the customers you want to know about you.

It will often be relevant to repeat an awareness survey after a certain period of time to track whether awareness of your business is increasing or decreasing. Tracking awareness gives you the opportunity to see whether any measures you have taken are affecting awareness levels or whether you need to change your strategy.
