Processing of personal data when you participate in our surveys, have questions about existing surveys, or e.g. send an enquiry via sent link, by phone, in person (e.g. personal interview or as a focus group participant), by post, email or on the website

When you participate in our surveys or send an enquiry via the website, you may be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, telephone number and other information that is relevant for participation in the survey or for us to respond to your enquiry. All information will be treated confidentially and anonymously to both our customers and third parties. Your contact information will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent unless we are required to do so by law. We do not use the information for spam or other commercial mailings. In some cases, we outsource the processing of your personal data to our suppliers. This is the case, for example, when we use GoGift, Send a Thought or others as suppliers of gift vouchers and here only e-mail addresses so that the gift voucher can be sent to you electronically.

As a rule, we store personal data for up to 2 years, after which we delete it. The reason why we don't always delete it right after a survey is completed is for quality control purposes and if there is a need to repeat the survey among the same target group, e.g. to measure history within a specific topic or invite for more in-depth interviews. In surveys where we need to subsequently contact you again, you will be made aware of this.

You may receive a survey from us without having expressed your interest in participating in a survey. This could be in connection with a survey where our customer has collected publicly available contact information such as emails from websites or you are a member of an association where the association is the data controller. Employees at Analyse Danmark are subject to a confidentiality agreement that covers both internal company-specific matters, information about our customers and their products/services and respondents in our surveys.

Processing of personal data when you sign up for our newsletter

When you sign up for our newsletter, we register your name and email address in order to send you our newsletters. 

We process the aforementioned data on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up for our newsletters. You can always withdraw your consent by writing an email to or unsubscribe directly by clicking on the link in one of the newsletters we send you. We generally do not disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law. We generally process the personal data until you withdraw your consent to receive our newsletters.

Your rights

You can always request insight into what personal data we process about you.

You can also object to our processing of your personal data, including, for example, asking us to correct, delete, limit, transfer or stop processing.
