Joint interview<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The duo interview is a variant of the personal interview. Duo interviews make use of the dialogue between two parties, such as a married couple, friends or a parent and child. By pairing the main interviewee with someone else who knows them, a special kind of co-interview is created where participants can remind each other of things, provide additional information or put things into perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extension of the duo interview is the family interview, where several family members participate. This typically involves the different roles and behaviours of family members in relation to the tested theme or product\/communication, such as how a decision-making process takes place or how they spend their time together at home.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

In both cases, interviews typically take place at the participants' homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observation in the home and the inclusion of artefacts provide a very complete picture of how things are done in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always use visual exercises or small cases to help uncover the more emotional arguments and get a step deeper than the rational answers and thus closer to what people actually do, not just what they say they do.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
